My husband and I have switched roles plenty of times...sometimes, I earn more than he does...other times, he is the higher earner.
I like the fact that both of us bring income into the house, regardless of the balance or lack of balance in numbers....
That way, if something happens, there is always money coming in.
He is in school right now, recertifying....so I'm the major breadwinner...it pays the bills and he's fine with that....
A true relationship doesn't care much for other people's perceptions...and doesn't let ego get in the way....
