...adwords pricing is based on an auction... so... its kinda hard for google to "up the price of the words". What i have noticed is keywords with "raise minimum bid to activate this keyword.." but that's only because of competition for the words.
There are plenty of cheap keywords out there and adsense is still extremely profitable for me.
