I've been aware of this situation for a cpl years now, norton isnt the only culprit, there are other ad blocking softwares out there too, that operate about the same way.
I dont use folders named "images", "ads", "banners" or any sponsor name, I even rename any sponsor provided images or banners I use so they are unique.
also a lil tip if you do use common sized banners, especially 468x60 or 80
change the size in the html by 1 pixel each way..it doesnt distort the banner and it will defeat most of the ad blocking settings.
