I watched something on mtv where they got done a concert and went back to the hotel.
Jon was sitting in his hotel room and while looking out his window he saw a wedding reception going on in the courtyard where they had a piano.
So he called down to get the piano sent to his room when they were done with it.
The piano sat there for the night as he was either too tired or drunk to do anything with it but in the morning he wrote Bed Of Roses....
