and being 'born of a virgin' is a real hoot..
The old manuscripts referred to Mary as amah, which meant 'young woman'.. not 'virgin'..
Here was an assumption that because she was young, she was a virgin.. Lot's young'ns proved that this wasn't always the case..
Just another case where one word was replaced with another of a different meaning which changed the whole concept of the story..
