and also cherrylula... when i said there are assholes in all "Groups".. i was giving a very broad generalization... What i was trying to point out is the fact that there are true christians out there who are very cool people. They don't condemn, they're very intelligent, they don't recruit, and most importantly they don't stereotype (ah hem). the bible states that god loves everyone right? well the true christians out there believe this, and follow it. if you were to hang out w/ some of them, you wouldn't even know they were christian, you'd prolly think they're just another porn webmaster hangin out at a party ;)
and also, to respond to your edited post, i'm not a christian... i'm agnostic.
i also don't have "god's back". i'm trying to make ya realize that just because of your experiences with christians doesn't deem the entire christian population to be assholes. I'm willing to bet if you found out your best friend was christian, you'd change your ideas about christians pretty quickly.
