I can't speak for every webmaster, but since the topic was beaten to death on their own board, I'd assume most know about it. Whether they made it clear or not we are still promoting them.
It's simple really: If you feel it's unfair, don't sign up. If you just found out and don't like it, pull your links and see if you make more somewhere else.
If anyone knows CamSense, they start at 10% lifetime. To me, that's way too low and well below competitors. However, they convert and retain well so I stick with them. In the end, it's your choice.
