You are trying to make a point like:
Well, in 1925, drunk driving wasn't illegal, so I can get smashed off tequila now and shouldn't be arrested for driving under the influence, because our laws used to be different.
Like I said, if you want into "my" country, you have to play by the rules. The same way if I want to go to the Philippines, I have to play by theirs (I use that as an example because I go there often nowadays).

I agree illegal immigration is wrong, but it is inevitable where you have such economic discrepancy between neighboring countries. I advocate changing the rules. Do you wish to make it easier or more difficult to get citizenship in "your" country?
