Define 'real friend'? Everyone thinks only about themselves, it's not in the human nature to care about others, we're not dogs. Hell even a dog will leave you if someone else offers it a cookie. As long as it makes *you* happy.
Sure, your 'real friends' might be there for you, but only if it does not cost them too much (money, time, effort, etc). Think about it, how much would *you* sacrifice in order to make your friend(s) happy?
