Hey guys I haven't done one in a bit so here ya' go:

If you are doing a primarily video site, which many are these days, updates are a key element to keeping members. You can stretch out your updates and make more of them by offering screen caps from your update say on Mondays and the video on like Thursday or Friday.

Doing this gives the site more activity and, if you are running a trial, you can get a higher % of people to stay (so long as they join within the date range) perhaps to see the video from the screen caps. You might even want to make the pics on the day you get the most joins usually so you maximize the effectiveness of getting people to stay for the vid.

The other thing you can do is post caps of what's coming soon in the next few updates. People joined because the tour got them hot for something. They may stay longer for the coming soons for the same reason.

Last bit - use the coming soons on your tours too. People will check back on these or they just may join because of a set coming in a week. You never know what finally pushes someone over the horny edge and gets them in so give them al the tease you can muster.
