Well, since I'm outside of the USA I doubt I'll ever be investigated for 2257 compliance.
I don't really understand why you're being so defensive with this 2257 thing, I am actually try to HELP you by making it clear to you that your site as it is currently is not 100% legal. This comes back to your original broader issue of "leave me alone, I am not doing anything illegal" - I'm pointing out that you are, fix it and they can't do shit...
Yes, they may never do anything anyway even if you didn't change it, but you need to consider the potential consequences if they did get a conviction.
I can't really say it any other way.
