Semantics. The US and Britan let Russia take Berlin. There was a race to Berlin, and the Allies had gotten there first, but allowed Russia to take it per agreement. This is documented as Stalin wanted Berlin, and Britan and the US agreed. There were in position a few days prior, and could have taken it if they wanted.
Sounds like you need to brush up on your history.
