if people could get as high by meditating everyone would be addicted to sitting still not dancing around.
that is why drugs exist.. because those states cannot be achieved without them.
while this is more exaggerated propaganda - because millions of people have been taking it for years without obvious problems - there is of course danger in taking any drug....
and yes there are long term dangers of ecstacy use.. but this is the sort of anti-drug propaganda that is designed to stop people "taking the first step" - they use it on all of 'em.
"try acid once and you can go crazy or you might get flashbacks for the rest of your life"
"one mushroom is enough to kill you"
"marijuana is a gateway drug, they might go onto heroin."
theres a grain of truth in all of them but for 99%of people it doesn't mean dick.
That said wouldn't take synthetic drugs if someone paid me.
