Melissa is trying to sell a reality TV show - maybe that's why she wants to fight this in public - and if that's what she wants to do then she should do it - - but knowing she may be in for alot of crap.
Melissa posted here not long ago that her first go round with this brought her alot of notoriety and money BUT also alot of stress and she even said right here on GFY that she doesn't know if it's worth going through it again.

everything you said is very true, but what is more stressful - going through all of this, or leaving friends and family behind. when she posted that, it was in the context that she doesn't do this stuff on purpose to attract the attention (which so many times is brought up), its unwanted attention that is brought upon her by the local authorities. we get enough publicity by running a solid website.
we are well versed in 2257, obscenity, and all things related with this website (other things that are being inferred in this thread). we have lawyers. melissa has a criminal defense attorney for public nudity. she can recite to you the law by heart. not even 3 weeks ago i sat down with jeffrey douglas in his office. for the time being, the public appearances are actually being put off, only because the bar owner doesn't want the heat anymore.
she is meeting with a lawyer this week to show them the video, and to determine any wrong doing on the part of the police, which she believes there is plenty, and caught on video. i just hate it when people say we are egging the cops to come get us, that couldn't be farther from the truth. melissa is just living her life, and not caving in to basic police intimidation tactics. thats the point of all this.
