A mistake is something you learn from and do not repeat thanks to your experiences. An accident is an unexpected event or an unforeseen incident.

Red lights are pre warned by yellow lights. One learns from experience and the law that one should not push yellow lights, and that the yellow light is warning you that the light will turn red.
If you accidentally did not see the yellow light or were driving to fast to prevent safely slowing down and stopping at it then you are just not paying attention, do not give a fuck about others safety, or feel that the rules should not apply to you.

Buying a spray just to prevent punishment from what you perceive to be mistakes or accidental occurences just goes to show that you do not care about others. Of course this spray will not prevent a real accident.
