V_rock , even after reading your description of events , it doesnt seem to me to be so cut and dry.. It seems like a miscommunication that didnt get handled very well by either side. Certainly not clear enough to call anyone with an opposing viewpoint "sig whoring coke addicts" It sucks the thread got locked but if something cant be worked out its pointless to keep beating the same dead horse.. Keep the thread bookmarked , and if you feel the need to point it out to people in the future , that sounds like a much better idea.
