"Most IQ tests in the United States tend to use a SD-15 or SD-16 scale, meaning that one standard deviation corresponds to ±16 points on the IQ scale. However, European IQ tests tend to use a SD-24 or SD-25 scale, resulting in discrepancies. Therefore, an IQ of 130 (+2 standard deviations) in the U.S. might correspond to an IQ of 148-150 in Europe"
