They may still "support" him, but at this point most of the Repubs I know will readily admit that he no longer represents true Republican values.

There was a time when most Republicans stood for smaller government, fiscally responsible policies, and high moral ideals. It was not always about religion as it is today.

"Republican" does not (SHOULD NOT) equal "Christian", although they have become nearly synonymous in so many circles today it is a bit scary (especially to REAL Republicans).

This is why I say that George Bush is NOT a TRUE Republican, just to clarify.
