well they arent hiding the fact they are selling sterile seeds. they are trying to make a business out of it..
If i could sell second generation sterile seeds then i have just bought myself a customer for life.. so these guys can sell seeds at half the price as other seeds because if they do they know the person will be back next year.. if i sell good seeds he wont need nearly as many next year..
The problem is if a farmer doesnt buy the terminator seeds but his farm is next door to a guy that does , theres a chance those seeds could cross with the other seeds and make his seeds sterile.. sure he could sue but in the end they would all have to buy seeds from the seed guy
