Damn, that's pretty fucking lame. The only thing I don't get is, couldn't farmers sue these companies saying that they sold them a knowingly defective product? If the companies sell these seeds to farmers without telling them that they are sterile I think they'd go out of business really quickly...

Either way, pretty lame that they would go through the effort to develop such a harmful (to THEIR customers, the farmers) product.
PS: The part about the U.S.'s bio-acacia-style shit in Iraq is also fucked up.
