Hmmm, I think you'd be best not attempting to bring China into this discussion if you're going to talk about labor costs. The cost of semi-skilled and skill labor in China has risen so much lately that Chinese companies are now building factories in other parts of Asia and shipping Chinese workers to staff them (Chinese law requires that 50% of the workers for Chinese goods be Chinese is the figure I believe) so that the Chinese corporations can take advantage of the lower wages they can pay in India, the Phillipines, Malaysia, etc.
By the time you add in shipping costs, and the massive delays in getting goods in a timely fashion shipped from Asia, many US companies are already starting to bring their production lines back to the States.
