I can't help but think that he is exactly right. I will never agree with his ideals, but his judgment of our party is spot on. (Our elected) Democrats have become so incredibly spineless over the last 6 years, and although I'd love to somehow blame the 'other' side, at some point it does come down to the fact that so many Dems in office right now are straight-up pussies who are afraid to speak their minds. Not all, sure, but the majority of the minority for certain.
What ever happened to putting the truth above fear of political suicide? Blame the right-wing "Spin" machine if you want to, but Dems spin shit just as hard and it doesn't seem to stop nearly as many Republicans. If the Dems BELIEVED in their message you'd think more of them would stand up and speak their truths, fearlessly and with conviction, in defense of their own RIGHTNESS. (No Pun)
Don't you think that this dialogue has got to at least start amongst Dem's if we want to see anything change? It's all good to count on Bush to fuck things up to the point where we'll easily put a Dem in office, but is that REALLY OUR BEST STRATEGY? It's fucking pathetic.
