you're missing the point... it's not that americans want to go to mexico to work. maybe a handfull do for some reason or another but not many of them.
Substitute Canada for Mexico in the story above. Would Canada be wrong for kicking out Americans who snuck into their country and broke their laws? Of course not. This is no different.
