My boyfriends Latino, the first generation on either side of his family to be born here (his father fled Castro's Cuba, his mothers family immigrated from Mexico), so I think if there were some sort of Mexican conspiracy to take over the Southwest I'd have heard something about it, even if it were just him chitchatting with the cleaning lady or the gardeners about their impending rise to power in America.
