I've been having symptoms very similar to what you describe for the last couple years. I've found that certain supplements help a great deal with this kind of problem. You might look into supplementing magnesium and vitamin c. The vitamin c should be in megadose quantities (about 1.5 to 4 grams/day). You'd be surprised at how effective natural vitamin and mineral supplementation can be for this kind of problem. After having been on the vitamin C for a couple months, I no longer have those annoying thumps or flutters occuring with any significant frequency and my body deals with stress and anxiety much better. With vitamin c, though, the quantity is critical. You won't be able to get enough from just a couple glasses of OJ, you need to pop a 500mg tablet every 2 or 3 hours to get the full benefit. It's worth it, though, trust me. And it's safe, vit c has no known toxicity level and excess quantities are easily passed by the body. Oh, and I almost forgot fish oil. Fish oil is a natural anti-arrhythmic.

Time for shuteye, good luck to you.
