I love the gym...If i'm not out with friends or home working I can usually be found at the gym. My seasonal job requires me to be in shape.
6'2" 200lbs, 16 inch biceps, 32 inch waist, 8 pack.
I go to the gym 6 days a week. Eat 5 meals a day (3 meals, 2 shakes). Drink a gallon of water a day. Do 45min of cardio on the Eleptical 4 times a week and I do SPIN every Friday morning at 5:45AM till 7:15AM. I do 8 minute abs 3 times a week and work out my abs in the gym 2 times a week and I hit the sauna on Sundays.
I do opposites one week
mon& thur chest/back,
tues& fri bi's/tris
wed&sun shoulder/legs
The next week I'll switch it up to keep the muscles guessing and ill add in traps
mon&thur Chest/Tri's
tues&fri back/bi's
wed&sun shoulders/traps/legs
Saturday is my off day/ cheat day. When I go out I'll limit myself to one or two beers and usually stick to drinking Jack Daniels on the rocks or Gin Martini's.
The 6 day gym week kicks my ass and leaves me tired but it also prevents me from boozing all the time or induldging in junk food. Though I am addicted to Coca-Cola I tend to split a can with anyone that is around or dump out 2/3 of my 20oz prior to drinking to it. Coke is usually one of the only sources of simple carbs/sugar I have in the day so it balances out in the end. But drinking a gallon of water a day kills the urge to have a coke.
For the summer time I will be around 185lbs in order to bring my body fat percentage down.
*** Maintaining at the gym is all about creating a routine for yourself. If you make the gym a part of your routine you will never miss a day. You will actually feel disgusted when you do.
I challenge any person here who does not go to the gym to give it a shot for 2 weeks...a total of 10 days in the gym and 4 days off. I guarantee that you will get motivated and want to do something about your body if you are indeed overweight.
