The point is - baby seal pups are slaughtered for their pelt only so the shallow-minded fashion people can be in style and satisfy their vanity. The meat is completely wasted and left on the ice floes to rot.

As for lobsters, I'm somewhat curious how you determined they're boiled in "excruciating pain". From what I've read over the years, its been documented that their brains are too small to register pain.
Dude, keyword is consume. Seals are consumed (not the meat, but the pelts). Lobsters are consumed. Pigs scream while being slaughtered and they also are consumed.

Lobster is a delicacy, it's not required by your body to function properly. While you may like exquisite cuisine, some like wearing seal coats. It's not in your power to tell them what to do since you're just being a hypocrite yourself.

Btw, none of the seal meat is being wasted in mother nature. It's not a synthetic material so it gets processed throughout the years.

As for lobsters and pain, that was an example since I'm not familiar with how they function. In any way, they are living creatures that we needlessly kill for luxury.
