I dated a girl once that said she wouldn't eat any animal that was "cute"...I dumped her ass faster than yesterday's Taco Bell. So only cute animals deserve protection? I don't see any hippie groups out there protecting the three-toed sloth or the rats they have in New Orleans running rampant.

Deer are pretty cute but I'll shoot one in the stomach instead of the heart just so I can follow its blood trail before I have to field dress it. It's a lot cleaner for me and so what if the deer suffers. It will still taste just as good.
