But that's exactly the point -- THEY DO. When foreign companies approach the US to do business, they speak English perfectly and demonstrate an understanding of our culture, at the very least sufficient to talk to us intelligently about our markets and our businesses. As someone who is both American and fluent in several languages, I have a unique perspective. I can suggest I am with one side or the other, depending on my mood and/or my curiosity -- lol. But time and again, I see that it is the expectation of most American companies that the "foreign guy" will meet them more than half way ...
