Good point.
In my case being an artist I make my own content. My options are pretty good considering it only works as my overhead is so low.
I can make my own content for a site or sites and charge. Or I can do content, license it or do content for other sites.
Yet it's more of a money maker to do my own stuff as licsnsing content is a pain and people want to buy stuff for dirt cheap. Doesn't work that way. Not worth the time nor effort.
I can also do my own sites and offer a reseller program. That's the 500lb gorilla right there if I felt like the headache.
It's keeping overhead low and working with people who are willing to go out there and sell. It's by no means a lay around on your ass kind of job but reaching $100k isn't that difficult.
If you're starting out and you have to shoot your own content, hire models yadda yadda you can go broke before you begin.
