I had an unhappy wife throw herself at someone else and he took her up on it. Now at that point his turning her down would have saved our relationship; it was a turning point. He was someone I knew and rather than acknowledging there was a problem and maybe helping by doing nothing he chose to get his end wet. A potential friendship was nuked, as well as a marriage with a couple kids.

Now I am with someone i could never have met had I remained in that relationship. She is one of the most perfect human beings I have ever met. If the marriage hadn't a-bombed on me I would have been poorer in both spirit and wallet. I would do nothing to jeopardize that. I thank that asshole today.
