I personally prefer the machined version over the stamped rifles anyday... As far as stopping power and the two they both fire the exact same round how can there be any difference? All the mods that can be done to an AK can be done to an SKS and most are cheaper to do thus more gun for your money. Not tryin to flame you, like I said we all have our opinions so lets just have a day at the range at the next Miami show, I know a great range.

God created man; Sam Cold made them equal; I will never doubt that! But let's be honest I'm not talking a stopping power difference between SKS and AK; it's accuracy. The AK is known for its resiliance not necisarily its accuracy; the SKS is not known for either. Its resiliance nor its accuracy. Which is my point. More bang for your buck doesn't really matter ;)
