I actually prefer the SKS to both.. For one it's not stamped parts like the AK so it doesn't rattle as much, it also fires the same round as the AK which has way more stopping power than an AR-15's .223 round
As far as handguns I'll stick with my series 70 combat commander, Sam Colt is the only way to do .45.
