Its somewhat of an open secret. AVS, on the whole, tend to make more money with less traffic as compared to TGPs, LLs, etc.

Really well done entry sequences convert member signups well. Either from SEs or from the AVS' own internal referral system.
Cool thing with AVS is that even if you don't get a membership sign up you can still win because you have banners and ad areas in your content pages.
