I believed in the tooth fairy right up until I saw with my own eyes someone switching the tooth. Likewise with psychic abilities, the paranormal etc I have had many experiences which have more than proved to myself that those things are real.
People who believe in psychic stuff generally fall into three camps. The first ones are the gullible "I spent my life savings on a Miss Cleo 900 line" type who swallow everything at face value and require no proof. In the middle are the vast majority who keep an open mind acknowledging the likelihood but aren't curious enough to find out more. The third type are the ones that have looked into it in detail and/or had personal experiences before deciding that there is something to it.
Likewise with the sceptics, most have simply decided it's crap based on very little information or research. The others have looked into it but still haven't found enough "proof" and never will probably.
I know what I know and have no desire to convince anyone else anything, but would humbly suggest to at least keep an open mind.
