Theres a case I saw recently in the news where an 18 year old guy is serving jail time for statutory rape for having sex with his girlfriend who was 17 at the time.
They also try juveniles as adults in capital cases.
But this kids mother whines about protecting her poor baby from the media and court circus and they toss it out.
Even the press was reporting it as the "teacher accused of having sex with her student". THATS what she's accused of? Having sex?? The lines are so fucking blurred it's ridiculous. Statutory rape=having sex. Way to send a clear signal mr. prosecutor and mr. judge.
