For the average Joe, an Intel might suit you fine, but if you're a gamer, look at game benchmarks for the last couple of years, Intel gets blown out of the water pretty much every time. With their latest processor, it did jump close the gap a little, but it's still behind the latest AMD which in the very near future is releasing their latest socket and processor which will again kick the shit outta Intel
I'm not Pro-AMD or anything, I jump on the wagon of what's the best processor maker out there for gaming and that maker just happens to be AMD
