then i rubbed it through my hands and touched my eyes / nose with it and had no reaction... then i even went so far as to put the actual fur onto my face and around my nose and eyes... still no reaction

Amazing .. I thought the only cat you could get that wouldn't affect my allergies is one of them skin, no fur cats. That kinda freaks me out.
