Where's the harm? So some people are a little offended by the age difference. Is the kid traumatized? ... Apparently only by the publicity caused by the court case...
Would I say the same if it were a male teacher charged with having sex with a 14-year-old girl? No!
What about a male teacher having sex with a 14-year-old male student? It depends. I'd probably have a problem with that.
So I have double standards. Or triple. I think I have a constitutional right to that.
