Ok, so you feel like Guba is is ok selling content that is owned by someone else. Lets change some thing here. Lets say you, Forkbeard, spend time and money buying content exclusive to your site. Or you hire a model to work with, then pay a photographer to take the pics. Spend tons of cash getting a website up and working. Oh lets ball park figure this, around 10k.
So you spent 10k to get this site of yours up and then you see your content, even one pic that you own that is exclusive to you on another site. Lets not even use guba. You would do nothing about it? You would say "Hey, thats ok for them to take my pic or movie and link it to there join page." Is that what your saying?
Then you notice an email saying, that if your content happends to be on our site. They will take it down right away. Well it's your content. Why would they use it? Why would they have an email saying that if its on there, they will take it down? So you spent 10k and if some one doesn't see that its on a site. Then it's ok for the site owner to use it? When they are caught, the owner or yourself have to email them and prove you own it?
I am not trying to start wars here. But I know if I spent 10k to get a site up and exclusive to me. I would be pissed at anyone that uses it. One pic, or a full set to promote another site. Or some one elses site. If some one that is getting many sets of your content and using it on there own site to promote. then you have to figure that its your money spent on making the content and your allowing your paid contnent to be used for some one else site.
I don't know, it kinda sounds like thats what they are doing. I really don't care who promotes them. But to tell me it's ok to use my content on some one elses site, to do anything like promote the other site or get sales that I paid for the content, is pretty harsh. I didnt spend the cash for some other site to have it. I paid for ME or MY sites to have it exclusive.
