Ask her to show you some porn actresses that have made it big in this industry and, or others after being in this industry and show her 100 that have not. Then the ones that she finds that have "made it" ask her to research them and find out what happened to them say after 5 years, 10 years etc. Be blunt about it, show the real life not the fake glam that you see tossed all around. Really and openly discuss it and find out why she would choose a profession such as this. Show her GFY and let her see the drama that seems to go around and around in this industry, a lot of the time one person fucking the next with no regard for the future, Then start taking her along to the trade shows to see other girls FIRST HAND that are walking the floors... Point out the differance between the models that are only paid to be there, but don't do porn, and the real girls that are walking the floor who are into the industry. Basically, be honest and upfront with her about it and after you have given her the information let her make up her mind from that point. What else can a parent do? I'm not going to lie to my daugter, or try to hide her from the real world. I hope to raise someone that is stong and secure in herself and understands full well that you don't EVER want to be in a position where your dependant on someone else but self reliant. I'm not going to raise her with the fucking princess fairytale, barbie doll bullshit I see others crap up there daugters minds with today. I don't want to there to be a point where I have to "wonder" what she is thinking of doing, but, hopefully have created a safe harbor at home where she feels secure enough to talk with my wife or I about anything without fear or embarrassment. How this all works out is anyones guess, I will just try to do as good a job I can if I fuckup along the way try to learn from those mistakes and grow right along side her.
