Have to say its just the challenge. years ago it was fun (for a geek) to see how many OS' I could boot on one machine. I Got fresbsd, BeOS, Suse linux and NT 4 to boot on a 400 Mhz dell and i got mac 8, BeOS and, yellow dog and nt running on virtual pc. hoestly now I can do anything i want on any OS. The Mac OS is cool in lots of ways, but it doesn't have the huge advantage in runing software I use anymore. In the 90's when I was a photoshop artist Mac was the only way to go. As a network guy though, there are a lot more tools on the pc. If you are a pc guy thinkin "i hate macs" rmemberthat at one time windows could only use 8 megs of ram, while a mac I had easily addressed 256. Of course a 64 meg stick cost 4 grand back then. Macs having given up the inherent floating point advantage of the motorola/ibm processor is sad, but at todays higher clock speeds, who cares. I build my own machines, and its way cheaper to build acustom pc. I would think it would be a etter contest to see if you could boot the Mac OS natively on a pc.
