Yep.
The skyline leading up the great pyramid road is impressive.
The dessert and the pyramids themselves are spectacular.
The great shaft on the inside is nice.
The rest of the interior...bah...a dramatic let down.
I went a while back.
They do not like Americans/Europeans plenty told me.
Organize your tour before hand state side.
Know all the places you want to go. Even though it may seem a bit dicey, you will want to tour historic mosques--more spectacular than the pyramids IMHO.
Always bring your own chilled bottled water and have plenty of small bills for the locals. Who knows wtf they are saying about you in Arabic if you don't tip them 10 cents...
Do not eat anything outside of your hotel/tour. Get a prescription for these tiny white pills from your doctor for diarerah. Because you will get it, and if you don't have prescription medicinie you will be sorry.
Stay in an American "four-star" chain hotel too =}
Europeans have a different idea about nice accommodations...
That is all I can think of now.
