I am a hahahaha and work 24/7 I work in my sleep thinking of new projects or ideas on how to do something better. I can't stop my mind from thinking. But see I ENJOY creating new projects, working on them, investing my money. I can go look at new building sites for realestate or work tweak some design on a page that one of my designers made, and I enjoy doing this, which really is work.
I invest about 90% of what i make after modest living expenses. I take a trip to Vegas here and there for a couple days, I own a H2 (which i wrote off and only wind up costing me 35K after tax breaks). But I blow very very little money. Instead of blowing it on extra 80K cars, or 40ft boats, or all the other toys that people blow it on, i have more fun investing it and adding another income producing source to my portfolio.
My goal 7 years ago was to retire at 30. While everyone else who made money blew it I reinvest it. To answer you question does your money work for you or do you work for you money. Your money works for you when you invest it and it makes you money back. Eventually you sit on the beach and dont have to work, and your money is out there working for you making you more money. However this can only be accomplished if you don't blow your money as fast as you make it. I would rather bust my ass for 10 years and live financially free the last 40 years of my life then work 9 - 5 for the next 40 years and die. fuck that.
