Those waivers are worth the price of a cup of coffee and a couple of bucks. If someone gets injured on ANY form of work-job etc, you can and most likely WILL he able to be held accountable.

Stunt people have their own or shoots-movies etc provide for special insurances for injuries related to on the lot injuries.

I'm sure a certain other person from that industry here can elaborate on that more if he chooses to.

In bondage, safe words aren't enough, eye blinks in a set prearranged and other means are a real good idea. Think that piece of paper waiver will keep that big cop with the cuffs at bay if someone DIES? Worst case there, but if someone gets hurt there will be H*LL to pay, complete with the rock holding it up and the Devil at the door.

You'd better do your homework before you start and this ain't your next day pop quiz homework.

Whoa, sit down and relax...all of our bondage related waivers/materials have passed muster with our attorney...see, unlike you and others, instead of just flaunting what I think the law is, I do this crazy thing called "consult an attorney". Eye blinks? yeah, that goes over real well for a blindfold shoot. So, tell me, what bondage shoots have you done? I'd like to know because if you're going to share with the class, please tell us, from your experience, what YOU do for bondage shoots? I wasn't talking about onset injuries, I was talking about pre-existing conditions that the model has that she'll try to come back on. She'll already have a bad back and then try to come back and claim she hurt it during the shoot (you wouldn't believe the shit models try to pull). Actually, for a long time, we didn't have the pre-existing medical condition release, but I was talking with Master Len and he mentioned that he used one, so we consulted with our attorney to have our own drawn up. We're not trying to screw any models who've legit been hurt, but we also cover our asses.

We also have a thorough checklist before the shoot so the model understands everything that's going to take place. It's all carefully choreographed. So, it's not like some ditz signs a model release and medical waiver and we string her up and smack her ass with a riding crop.

I'm sure the Sweets could also share what they do before and during their bonage shoots. I'm sure some of the other bondage photographers and content providers could share as well....
