All you fukking tree huggers are making me nauseous !
Humanitarian this and that .. it is obvious that most of you have never ever been accosted by one of these people, looking for money, a cigarette, drugs, etc ... they can be outright agressive and even assault you if they are in the right frame of mind !!!
When I was a security patrol supervisor, I had one of my guards get stabbed 11 times through the chest, side, and back, by one of these "less fortunate" scumbags.
He had set up camp in an underground garage, and one of the female tennants of the building called security because she was intimidated by him asking her for change as she got out of her car. The guard told him he had to leave, and escorted him from the garage ...
About 2 hours later, while on patrol, my guy found him setting up camp in a different end of the garage (this particular garage served 4 buildings, and housed 2100 cars, on two levels ..). He told him he was going to call the police to come and charge him with trespassing if he did not leave ... the bum just looked at him and laughed ... so my guy grabbed onto his arm to escort him from the garage once again, and at this time the bum went ballistic on him and jabbed him 11 times with a 4 inch pearing knife ... (The doctors said he knew what he was doing too ... many of the wounds were consistant with somebody who has been specially trained in hand to hand combat !!)
During the investigation, the cops traced the knife back to a restaurant 2 blocks down the road, and in talking to patrons there, found somebody that said he overheard the guy talking to another guy, telling him that he was going to "kill a cop tonight".
LESS FORTUNATE MY FUKKIN ASS !!

At some point, these BUMS made decisions, (albeit bad ones ...), but it was decisions on their part that led them to their current situation ... nobody made them become bums !!
I was very down and out in my luck 6½ months ago, with no roof over my head, no computer (tool of my trade) ... only a gym bag with a few clothes in it ... I could have easily said FUCK IT, and became a street beggar ... I did not!
I am one who likes his alcohol ... my father was (is) a cronic alcoholic. Everybody told me (including therapists when my parents divorced after 27 years of marriage..) that I was a perfect canidate to have problems with alcoholism for the rest of my life ... Guess what ... I don't ! - again, a concious choice I MADE !!
Call me cold and uncompassionate all you like, but you will NEVER see me giving a couple bucks to a bum, just so they can go blow it on crack anyways, once they find 14 more suckers to give them a couple bucks ...
One last case in point ... When Guiliani got tough and started arresting all the vagrants in NYC, crime went down by almost 20 FUKKING PERCENT !! Coincidence?!? I think not !!
I am a very comapssionate person, but whoever it was that suggested giving this woman a job answering their phones ... ARE YOU ON FUKKING GLUE ?!?
Somebody who lacks personal hygeine, as well as social skills, is the LAST person on earth I'd hire to answer phones ... I'd go out of business before that happened ...
I'm sorry I went off on a rant, but yes it is true these bums will get nothing from me, except a swift kick in the ass !!
OK ... I feel much better now ... I think I am going to go down to the park and feed the ducks today
