Here in Brazil I donate money to a few charities but I work online and I've never seen an opportunity to help people like this one where I know who is taking care of everything (localg) and whats being done with the money and stuff donated. I don't have much contact online with people from Brazil and I like to see people happy in general, it doesn't matter their location, race or religion.

Every year my mother helps to find people to donate clothes and money to buy toys for kids near Christmas (50-100 kids, I think). I would help her if I was still in São Paulo. It's so great to see the smiles when they get their clothes and toys
