| British often use the term 'British Race' but they do mean nationality at the core because it is debated time and time again about what it takes for an Indian person or a black person to be considered part of the British race.  
 Also, race is just as much of an issue here as in the States but I think a lot of us that live in London forget how different London is from the rest of the country.  Racial slurs are used all the time on the streets, for example.
