I own a shotgun. Not the type of think you go running around town with, so I think it's a bit different than owning a pistol.
IMO, if you are really wanting a weapon for home defense, a 12 gauge is the only legit way to go. #1, you pretty much can't miss from 15 feet away. #2, you are unlikely to kill your neighbors by shooting through their wall.
and #3, the sound of a shotgun being loaded would have to be one of the most terrifying noises you could hear if breaking into a house.
What does this have to do with dicks anyway?
Just be glad we Americans own guns.. Otherwise you'd be living in Canadastan by now
