For permanent weight loss, it's the recommended method.
At the same time, I am toning my muscles and replacing fat with muscle, so my metabolism works properly. My nutritional plan is geared for a slow and steady weight loss...it took more than ten months to gain the weight; so, it stands to reason that it may take a year to take it all off.
Studies have shown that weight loss that occurs to quickly puts too much stress on the body and can cause subsequent damage to vital organs....I agree with this method of permanence...and, believe it. My heart IS in it. I work out six days a week, three of which involve weight lifting and resistance training. My calories are very regulated and I have strength and muscle tone now.
